Jordan chats with Dr. Frank Lipman, one of the first + most well known functional and integrative medicine doctors! Originally from South Africa, Dr. Lipman immigrated to the United States in 1984. He founded the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center Center in 1992, where according to his website, “he combines the best of Western medicine and cutting edge nutritional science with age-old healing techniques from the East.” Dr. Lipman is an established author and also the founder of Be Well, an expanding lifestyle wellness brand he founded in 2010 to help people create, sustain, and lead healthier lives.

Dr. Lipman talks all about optimal health as an individual pursuit (aka what works for Jordan may not work for everyone!). This being said, he does concede that gluten is, in his expert opinion, unhealthy for everyone, and sugar will lead to excessive weight gain for many. Dr. Lipman also delves into the connection between gut health and brain health (stress, mood, depression, etc.). He continues to WOW us with observed parallels between technology addiction and sugar addiction, and concludes with his thoughts on intermittent fasting. Dr. Lipman reminds us that becoming healthier doesn’t have to be scary!! It’s all about balance and, of course, changing bad habits into good habits.

Jordan also thinks everybody has to know about Thrive Market! If you like to eat high vibe, plant-based, organic goodness from the earth, then this is going to save you a lot of money because their prices are 25-50% below retail price. Plus, Thrive Market is offering you $60 of FREE organic groceries, with free shipping and a 30-day trial on their website, if you go to ThriveMarket.com/BLONDE.

As much as Jordan loves cooking at home, sometimes the hardest part of eating healthy is just finding the time! That’s why she loves meal delivery services like Sun Basket. They deliver healthy and delicious recipes with fresh ingredients straight to your door, and you can prepare each meal in 30 minutes or less. Plus there are gluten-free, vegetarian, paleo, and family options available! You can get $35 off your first order from Sun Basket by going to SunBasket.com/balanced!!

Jordan chats with her dear friends Krista Williams + Lindsey Simcik from Almost 30, an iTunes Top Ten Health Podcast (that lives in the top 200 overall!) for all things health, wellness, entrepreneurship, self-development, humor, and most importantly, HONESTY! In their live show, Lindsey and Krista share with our audience all about how they got involved in the wellness industry, and their “addiction” to feeling good! They delve into the origin of the Almost 30 brand, their dream guests for the pod, and everything in between!

Lindsey shares her experience dealing with vocal nodes and how speaking her truth on Almost 30 played a big role in clearing her throat chakra, which she believes expedited her healing journey! They detail the very best lessons they learned in their 30s, including ways to stay present and channel gratitude. Krista and Lindsey also tell us all about their favorite crystals!

The Almost 30 ladies reflect on life their 20s, “expanding moments,” how they learn from their ambitious friends who are chasing big dreams. Krista says she wishes people would ask her more detailed, thoughtful questions about her loved ones – not simply “how is he?” but instead “what do you love about him?” Jordan, Lindsey, and Krista take listener questions live and delve into topics like defining success, their fun plans for the holiday weekend, game-changing books, stand-out podcasts, acting on your intuition, and expressing your most authentic, vulnerable self.

Jordan chats with one of the most beloved musicians in the yoga and spiritual space (and also worldwide, let’s be real), Trevor Hall, who is not only an incredibly talented artist but also a deeply tapped in human.

Trevor’s heartfelt responses to each and every question are a testament to how present he is as a person. We learned about his love of astrology and his Saturn Return journey in Episode 69 with Trevor & Jordan’s astrologer Debra Silverman. In this episode we dive deeper to learn about Trevor’s music, how he met the love of his life, the ups and downs of being a musician, how Mother Earth plays a role in all of his songs and all about his latest album The Fruitful Darkness.

We all have so much to learn from Trevor’s profound wisdom  and his connection to the earth. He is as high vibe as they come, and deeply authentic. The exact kind of soul on fire human we love to feature here. We also may or may not learn the stories behind all of Jordan’s favorite songs of Trevor’s as well as his most popular songs.

Jordan also wants to let you know about Swisse Wellness, an amazing brand of multivitamins and supplements that she discovered a few months ago. She loves their Liquid Hair Skin Nails (collagen boost!), Sleep supplement, and more! Swisse Wellness premium supplements are available online at Amazon.com, Walgreens.com and iHerb.com, as well as Swisse’s site!

Jordan also wants you to know about Thrive Market!

Jordan chats with Kundalini yoga pioneer Guru Jagat, a direct student of Yogi Bhajan (the man who brought Kundalini Yoga to the West), the founder of the world-renowned radiant RA MA Institute for Applied Yogic Science and Technology and the author of Invincible Living: The Power of Yoga, The Energy of Breath, and Other Tools for a Radiant Life.

Her book changed Jordan’s life, as did the practice of Kundalini. And through this conversation… we think your life will be changed too -- #nojoke. #exceptwedojokeinthisepisode, because Guru Jagat is hilarious. As Shaman Durek told us in last week’s episode, spirituality does NOT have to be serious and/or boring. Ever.

After meeting Yogi Bhajan in 2002, Guru Jagat was launched onto her path as a Kundalini yoga teacher. She has since emerged as a leading global figure helping to create, delineate, and refine the new feminine matriarchal archetype, sharing how we can use these ancient yogic technologies to step into our power and set our soul on fire. We know you will enjoy this episode as much as we have, and cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

You can visit Guru Jagat at the Venice location of RA MA, in NYC, and in Mallorca! She is also going on a European tour this summer and there is a chance that Jordan may join her for a portion of it, so stay tuned! Women supporting women is what we are all about.

We’d like to thank Four Sigmatic for sponsoring the show. These magical, medicinal mushrooms are a big food health trend right now (#OnShrooms), probably because they’re packed full of adaptogens, superfoods, and other things that are super good for you! Four Sigmatic is always releasing new products (like their Mushroom Hot Cacao or Mushroom Mocha with Chaga), and each one is incredibly delicious. You can go to FourSigmatic.com/BLONDE to get 15% off of your order.

Jordan also wants to tell you about something she’s been loving lately: Woo for Play, an incredible, all-natural, coconut oil-based lube. We love it for SO many reasons, but our favorite thing is that it empowers women to bring a sexual health product into the bedroom (without making the bedroom any less fun) – and it’s so good for your body that it’s literally edible! You can get 10% off your Woo if you use the promo code BLONDE at WooForPlay.com.

Jordan has a very special episode to share with all of you today: a LIVE conversation and Q+A session with one of her favorite teachers, friends, and people in the world, Shaman Durek!! He is so full of wisdom and ancestral knowledge… it never stops blowing our minds! He answers so many powerful questions from audience members that we know will resonate deeply with all listening.

Before this conversation, Shaman Durek led a shamanic workshop and lead everyone in the audience through a session to open up their natural powers. It was a powerful, transformative experience... pretty much MAGIC!! We firmly believe that everyone in attendance was supposed to be there, just like you’re meant to be listening to the episode (if and when you do!) – because Shaman Durek’s answers to these questions will resonate with and help each and every one of us.

We’d also like to thank our newest sponsor, EverlyWell. EveryWell offers a variety of home health tests, for everything from food sensitivities to vitamin levels to women’s health. Jordan was able to test her sensitivity to 96 different foods from the comfort of her own home, and she believes this is a really important service because they give us the power to take our health into our own hands... and who doesn’t want to do that?! You can learn more & order your own Home Health Tests at EverlyWell.com.

Jordan chats with her dear friend -- who you may recognize from Jordan’s BOOK -- Jamie Graber, the former owner of the renowned raw vegan restaurant Gingersnap’s Organic. Jamie has had a huge impact on Jordan’s life – she was the first person to lovingly tell Jordan that she didn’t look healthy while she was raw vegan. That conversation completely changed Jordan’s life, and now Jamie is helping others do the same. You can learn more about this story in Jordan’s book, Breaking Vegan.

Jamie made the incredibly brave decision to walk away from (and CLOSE) Gingersnaps to start her coaching business Organically, Jamie, where she works as a mind shifter, healer, reiki master, manifester, and coach. It took GUTS to leave a thriving restaurant and pursue her passion, but we are so grateful that she has stepped into her light to share her deepest gift with all of us… HEALING.

Kick back and enjoy this heart to heart conversation on all things manifesting, expanding, healing, moving on, letting go, having courage from deep within, KUNDALINI, and so much more.

We’d like to thank Four Sigmatic for sponsoring the show. These magical, medicinal mushrooms are a big food health trend right now (#OnShrooms), probably because they’re packed full of adaptogens, superfoods, and other things that are super good for you! In this episode Jordan chats with the amazing, intuitive and incredibly talented Human Design energy type Reader, Jenna Zoe. What does that mean? It basically means that your aura and your astrological makeup have a TYPE, and that is your Human Design. Not only do Jordan & Jenna hit it off as friends right off the bat in this episode… but they end up chatting for two hours about all things Human Design and aligning our soul with exactly who we are meant to be.

Jenna describes Human Design as the contract your soul makes with the Universe about who you came to be, what you came to do, and what karma you came to correct this lifetime around. She is able to interpret this energy so naturally, which is hands down a tribute to this career setting her soul on fire.

Human Design combines so many different schools of wisdom in one: the Hindu chakras, the Chinese iChing, conventional astrology and the kabbalistic Tree of Life – but the result is an entirely new system that’s here to realign you with exactly who you are meant to be. The most radical thing we can do for ourselves and for the collective is be bold enough to be our real selves. We weren’t built to be all the same, and we do a disservice to our whole tribe when we hold each other to that homogeny.

Jenna gives Jordan the FULL lowdown on her energy type – she’s a REFLECTOR (only 1% of the population is a reflector… and it explains everything!)  – and then we dig deep, deep, deep into what that means! We can’t wait to hear what types all of you are, and hear how it enhances your life to start living in alignment with who you are at your core.

Jordan chats with Robyn Youkilis, an expert in holistic digestive health and the author of two incredible gut health books, Go With Your Gut and the brand-new (as in THIS WEEK new!) Thin From Within.

Despite many mutual friends, Jordan and Robyn met while recording this ep… but you would never guess based on the energy in this episode (#FriendsAtFirstSight)!! Robyn has an AMAZING, intuitive ability to connect on a deep level with the people she’s talking to and working with, as you’ll see when she asks a few questions (and gets responses!) from Jordan’s body!

Robyn also answers all of Jordan’s questions about balancing the flora in our gut and just generally treating our tummies as best as possible, and then we dig into her new book. Jordan LOVES how Robyn is disrupting the conversation around being thin – because thin isn’t a dirty word, it’s simply a feeling from within! The feeling of LIGHTNESS and vibrancy. Robyn is empowering people to find their happiest, healthiest, and most vibrant sense of self, and we are stoked to share that with all of you!

Jordan sits down and chats with Trevor Hall, who many of you may know as the folk and reggae artist who sings Green Mountain State, To Zion, Where’s the Love and so many other favorites, and their mutual astrologer (and Trevor’s dear friend) Debra Silverman to discuss everything from Saturn Returns to reading birth charts to astrological trends to keep an eye out for in 2018.

They also talk about how astrology has influenced Trevor’s music, what their spiritual routines are, and Trevor and Deb’s banter is sure to make you chuckle. These two are incredibly high-vibe, and they have a beautiful & unique relationship – Debra is Trevor’s “fairy godmother,” if you will. Jordan has a vulnerable and authentic conversation with Sheryl O'Loughlin, the CEO of REBBL (you guys know how much we love this company… HEALTHY FATS, galore!) and the author of Killing It!: An Entrepreneur's Guide to Keeping Your Head Without Losing Your Heart.

You’ve probably already heard Jordan raving about REBBL, the coconut milk-based elixir and protein drink company driven by a HUGE mission. In addition to working as the CEO REBBL, Sheryl also co-founded Plum Organics and worked as a CEO for Clif Bar, where she spearheaded the launch of the ridiculously successful Luna Bar -- we know you know the one. Her journey is incredible, so you’re in for a real (healthy) treat!

We’d also like to thank another incredible, healthy brand for supporting the show: Four Sigmatic!! Mushrooms are big food health trend right now, probably because they’re packed full of adaptogens, superfoods, and other things that are super good for you! These aren’t the portabello mushrooms you’re used to buying from the grocery store – Four Sigmatic uses a variety of functional mushrooms that can promote immunity, energy, longevity, stimulation, and even sleep. Balanced Blonde listeners can go to FourSigmatic.com/BLONDE to get 15% off of your order.

Jordan chats with her friend and breathwork inspiration Ashley Neese, a leading breathwork specialist and absolutely radiant soul. Ashley used to do a lot of all sorts of things in the wellness space (think teaching yoga, health coaching, leading meditations, and so on), but she started focusing on her core passion that set her soul on FIRE – a huge testament to the art of focusing inward in order to create big things. Being an expert on one subject is no joke.

Breathwork sounds really simple, but the true practice is way more than just breathing; it’s a form of active meditation that can help you stay grounded in yourself, your truth, and your authenticity, can help regulate your nervous system, AND it can be life-changing -- if you let it. Dive into what breathwork is with Jordan and Ashley, and you’ll never want to go back!

We wanted to go far deeper than what you’ve already heard Kelly talk about on other shows (and this show), so we sit down for a heart-to-heart about Kelly’s personal life, learning how to say no, the true art of dealing with FOMO (a.k.a growing out of it and not giving a sh*t), what her next book looks like, and what Kelly sees for her very near future.

You may know Jessica Olie from her amazing Instagram with gorgeous yoga poses, beautiful words, and her touching and beautiful spirit. Jess is the definition of what it means to be vulnerable and OPEN, and to share her heart with us.

Over the past few years, Jordan has fallen in love with Jess through social media – you’ll understand why when you see her yoga flow posts, stunning poses, and her #goals worthy friendship with Morgan Haley of The Southern Yogi (who was our equally amazing guest on episode 35).

Jessica chose to share a deeply personal struggle with us on this episode, and we know it will inspire you to reflect on areas of your life that may no longer be serving you. We appreciate her openness on every level, and we can’t wait for you to hear her poetic words about life, love, loss, intuition, fear, and of course… YOGA.
